Yin Yoga Teacher
Julie McKinley discovered her passion for yoga in 2001. She herself, has found so much healing and personal growth through this practice, and is passionate about serving in her community to share this gift with others. Her hope is to help you find a safe space on your mat to unwind from your busy or stressed life, and walk out feeling refreshed, restored and relaxed.
Julie began her yoga journey in the Bikram style and later received her 200-hr Anusara-inspired Vinyasa yoga teacher certification in 2019. She has additional certifications in both Pranakriya-Yin and Grounded Kids Yoga.
Julie is a graduate of UGA where she earned a BS in Psychology. She became a certified Holistic Health Coach through the International Institute of Nutrition, in May of 2018 and loves helping others discover how to truly live their best lives!
Julie has been a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation for many years and will use her experience to encourage students to go inward and find the stillness within each posture.
